When I was about 5 my mom was making popcorn in a large sauce pan. She had put the oil in to heat and was getting ready to put the corn in. I puched a chair over to the stove and climbed up to watch the corn pop.
I hit the handle on the pot and poured all the grease out on my foot! I fell off the chair, grabbed my cooked foot and scooted on my butt all the way through the house. I was never allowed in the kitchen after that. If it hadn't been for my grandmother, I would never have learned to cook. At 73, I still have the scar and memory of that night.😢

We used to make popcorn like this for years. Over 50 yrs ago I remember making popcorn and putting it in a paper grocery bag then take the 6 of us to car movies. Lol
I made popcorn for the grandbabies and they were shocked it wasn't made in the microwave. Haha

In 80's we regularly buy popcorn pkts because the current popcorn was not popular at that time. When ever we go to theatres we carry popcorn, biscuits and cup cakes also. Greener golden years. Thank you.⚘⚘🙂🙂🙏🙏⚘⚘
