I agree with most of what you said but the watch recommendations....Not so much. There is better value to be found in brands like Seiko, Citizen and Orient for example. They have horological significance and will last a lifetime.

Very true “when you buy cheap you pay twice” is what I’ve learnt in life as a man who now is in his forties I believe in quality over quantity also if your budget does not extend to brand new second hand or thrift shopping I’ve learnt you can get quality for much less if you know what is quality over rubbish got so many nice things second hand that have lasted me a long time or wait till the sales are on I’ve saved so much money this way for good quality products but I’m not a Scrooge either👍
