I see you can use a bluetooth distance meter on an ipad pro, why can you not on a Window 10 Surface Pro?

It's garbage.
Tried running it on a Panasonic Toughpad running Android emulator on Win 10.
Won't work without a keyboard.
WTF like I'm supposed to lug a keyboard around in the field?
And a mouse too?
If so then what good is this software?
