I average $2800 for a car, spend about $675 on tires and maintenance, drive for about 40K miles then sell it $1, 000 more. lol

Sea Doo is a very specific brand, I think you meant personal watercraft (PWC) and yes they do go down in value very quickly.

Is this still the case with some cars ? I just had a total loss of a 2016 Nissan note that I bought new with the intention of driving till it was toast. The wreck totaled it, the insurance company settled and I made money on the car. I had an endorsement that gave me an extra 10% and I got a bonus for low low miles but it was still a wash. I basically drove the car for free . Buying another was expensive but I was still impressed with the value, he the car still had .
