Swedish Expeditions - Bolivia 2017 - Illampu

The third and final video highlight reel of the Swedish Expeditions Bolivia 2017 adventure. Here we start out from Sorata, nestled below the Illampu massif, up to Lackathiya (albeith via car), from where we hike up to our first camp at Aguas Calientes. From there we make two more camps up to the base of Illampu, and from there we make a succesful ascent of the peak via the normal route which involves a 300 m 55 degree snow/ice slope, followed by a slog along steep cornices and crumbling snow bridges to the summit.
