The SISUs are now museum pieces, the IVECO DROPs is no longer used, the MOWAG Eagle was trialled but never purchased, the BV206 is used to carry surface to air radars, the M113 were borrowed for service in the Congo in the early 1960s, the RG32M LTV (which is the Irish version of the RG32M and we are its only user). The Panhard AMLs were retired a number of years ago.

RG-32M LTV is an absolute waste of money! Completely useless aswell as a simple vehicle.
Spent more time on the back of recovery vehicles and axel stands while deployed in lebanon.

Can't wait to see the fighter jets Ireland uses to protect it's air space....oh wait they don't have any! Fun fact the British R.A.F do it for them 😂 .as for their navy the Russians encroached on them and it was up to local fishermen to protect their shores 😂

Iam Irish and proud 🦚, but our neutral stance is holding investments in our navy, air corps, and regular 🪖, I wish the government invested in our defence

Ireland does not have any m113 in its arsenal but did use a few borrowed m113, s in the Congo back in the day

Ireland last used M113 in the early part of the sixties along with jeep humber pig and other such vehicles during the congo crisis and other UN sanctioned missions. The SISu hasn't been used since the adoption of the Mowag along with the Panard have not been used for some time now..Ireland is at present looking at new vehicles that would take over from the Mowag..along with other equipment. The RG outrider which Ireland are thee first to purchase and are still the only country to have done so os a different version to those that Scandinavian countries have and better protected and larger in size. The scorpions light recon light tanks which you didn't have within your video clip have also been taken out of service, there were also mbts used by the Irish army up to the seventies along with home grown armored vehicles that were used in UN missions and home use that were built and developed by Irish companies since the 30s to more resoned times. Examples today are used and stored within the military transport museum within the Curragh camp in County Kildare are still used within parades up to this day. Timoney Technology is one of Ireland’s success stories in specialized vehicles design development Prototyped vehicles license out their vehicles to be built by other OMEs with limited successes. Like the Bushmaster vehicles built in Australia the AV81 built by Singapore the Clouded Leopard by taiwan the BDX by Belgium the Vakeryie apc / FSG and the Vickers mk 11 and many more and many other vehicles using Timoney components ect.
Thank you very much for sharing your video with us...

Ireland 🇮🇪

Does not use nor has any M113’s in service with the Defence Forces.

All AML Panhards are decommissioned with some now used as monuments or on display in museums.

The B206 is used with the Giraffe short range radar for the RBS70 missile system. To my knowledge there are two however the technology is outdated.

Ireland will be implementing a new national long range radar in 2025. The Defence forces will also procure 100-120 new Armoured Personnel Carriers believed to be French made 32 Tonne vehicles to replace the 18 Tonne Mowags.

Now that we have all recovered from puking and have a headache from spinning photographs, The correct term is ' Aircraft' it is singular and plural at the same time. I have never seen or heard of Ireland having M113's unless somebody was making models in the barracks. The Scorpion light tank seems somehow to have been omitted. As far as I remember back in the day there may have been 12 of them. It may have been 6. As for the Panhard's, scrap iron from the word go. With that air cooled engine you could dehydrate quicker than a desert and go deaf at the same time. Definitely not for sneaking up any where. Never heard of the m using the Bandvagn either, but its probably obsolete now so the ministry of defense is probably buying a job lot. They certainly would be useful on Ireland's extremely rugged boggy terrain. Mowag Piranha 3 has a 400 HP engine. Hmm, my 1.8 liter saloon kicks out 145 HP . They got a bad deal there .

The rotation of those pictures and the constant fast changing all the time gives me a headache (really).
In the next video, the number of pictures is not important, but the information shared.
Not quantity but quality (old saying).

Honestly, against a modern army, we'd get smoked. Numbers are too small and we lack certain vehicles. If we went to war, Brit and American volunteers is what would save us.

I'm not saying we're not capable of force, no. Surely we're a trained modern, western army with the latest and basic tech and gear. But volume and diverse vehicles are the issues. We're a small country.

It seems like a lot of these vehicles are outdated Irish army have no military capability
