Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

*Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with lot of zeal and elan in Boston Public school Agra.* The children enacted the famous *Dandi March of the father of nation and brought back live memories of the National movement.*

In the background the *favourite hymn of Mahatma Gandhi ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ enchanted the environment with the religious fervour. Speeches by Palak Mathur & Shivam Kumar highlighted. The life and works of the Mahatma in times of great political unrest and turmoil, yet, the independence of the nation was snatched away from the hands of the imperialistic foreign rule.*

The *Director Mr. Prithviraj Singh Chahar spelt out the need of today on the foundation of the teachings laid down by Mahatma Gandhi*. He emphasized upon the importance of education blended with culture and how it would take the nation to the pinnacle of glory and established world peace.

*The Principal Mr. Amrit Cornelius spoke on the tenets of Mahatma Gandhi as given in his autobiography ‘My experiments with truth.’*
