Is Mojang finally adding this core Minecraft feature?

Is hardcore mode finally being added to Minecraft Bedrock Edition with spectator mode being polished up? Lets discuss that...

I think the biggest reason hardcore mode hasn't been added to bedrock is that you can die randomly from bugs like fall damage not being calculated properly or noclipping and falling out of the world when traveling out very far. If they can iron out those bugs than I think we could definitely see a hardcore mode in bedrock edition.

It's most likely something to do internally, cause on bedrock, you can sometimes just like... die for no absolute reason

I agree with some of the other comments. Bedrock has a bunch of random death glitches. Probably ten times as many as Java. Until those get patched, hardcore would be useless, and really frustrating.

What confuses me about spectator mode is that it's been on console edition for the battle and tumble minigames. and console edition got replaced with bedrock.

Most definitely, Bedrock should get a hardcore game mode as long as they fix the death glitches. I also think bedrock should have some of the features java has, such as being able to show chunk borders, the use of certain commands, and a debug stick. Just think of the building possibilities if we where to have these features! Also this was a good video, I look forward to seeing more of your content.

They need to add all the things lacking in both editions to both, the shield banners, the commands, achievements. Just add EVERYTHING that we have in one to the other

minecraft *pocket* edition was released 11 years ago, bedrock was released in 2016

this has to be the most solid prediction ive heard for a possible 1.20 feature. id honestly be shocked of we didnt. and with the random deaths, have u been seeing how many bug fixes theyre currently pushing threw the bedrock pipeline. i dont see why it cant work, even if a lil buggy still at first.

I just hope they fix mob spawning soon. Spent hours/days creating a perimeter For a quad witch hut, only to find out that with a simulation distance of 10-12 Mobs spawn 128 blocks Vertically, And 96 horizontally. My center afk spot was within 124 blocks of each huts spawn spot But since the limitations of horizontally spawning is 96 It's not actually possible to activate all four huts at the center point, unless I have two players placed closer to the huts. Why are we missing 2 chunks of spawning space?

We bedrockers kinda have spectator. We don't go invis, and we can only fly around if we were flying in creative before. If we don't, we just look like we're walking on one y-axis through blocks... And other players can see us.
Although to be fair it's kinda really fun.

You can "respawn" in hardcore mode in java using the open to lan feature and turning on cheats.

I blame the Rap Music. The ticking of the hihat constantly triggers the brain with instant reactions to uneeded strife with a feeling to ACT SUDDENLY. The thud and vibration of the Bass messes with the timing of the Heart and Lungs causing undo stress and Anxieties
