This is confirmed in Tekken 4 Paul's prologue in story mode

Tekken 3 is the first ever game I've been playing Paul, and I don't see these moves in Tekken 7... maybe I'm not using it correctly, but I miss Tekken 3's moves by Paul, great design, practical af! And yeah, Paul is my fav!
