To the people hating on this, YOU are the one being unreasonable. If a hotel can have shampoo, advil, condom, etc, they should have period products. and people saying “oh you should just bring things” what if a person starts their first period? or gets it early? it’s not THEIR fault. also, if you need to go to a store, your still going to be bleeding? so you could easily bleed onto your clothes.

If they have shower gel and soap they should have pads too. It's a basic hygiene necessity. And not having pads when you need them is the same as not having toilet paper when you need it. It's not entitlement to want easy access to simple necessities. I mean if a hotel can give people bufet breakfasts and little kettles with tea bags you'd think they'd have the organisational ability to handle this too...

This sucks. I got my period at like 10 in a hotel on vacation. I had no period products on me and the shop had nothing neither bathrooms. Stores were closed and I ended up having to take a pad from a random hotel worker. Thank god she was there or I would have bled out from toilet paper since i have a really heavy flow.

people that say she should just go to the store, what would you do if you went to a hotel and they didn't have toilet paper. it's literally the same thing hotel's should provide period products since menstruation is something half of the population go through

One time I got my period on a cruise and they had nearly no pads there. I had packed a couple but my flow was way heavier than it had ever been, so we got off at the next stop and went to a pharmacy which also barely had any pads, especially not in the flow I needed. That was kinda awful

Yes I know it may be hard to comprehend but when something is brought the buyer takes it with them and if it is in high demand then lots of people take them till there aren’t any left. It’s called selling out.

I used to work in a hotel, we never had period products, there was a supermarket just about 3 minutes walking distance, so unless you're recreating the elevator scene from the shining you'd be OK going there and get sorted

I can see why a hotel wouldn’t have them. Everyone is a different size tampon or pad and have different flows, so it’d be impossible to compensate for everyones needs. Just buy some at a gas station or local store

If the hotel is always put, it shows how many females don't remember to pack these important items. It is the customer's responsibility to remember to pack those important hygienic necessitys NOT anyone else. The amount of time spent complaining could have been spent going and picking it up at the local store or gas station.
