Awesome so is there a certain way the cam follower should go? And does the Audi A4 2.0T 2007 have more than 1 fuel pump?

I got all those codes but had other stuff replaced like Oxygen sensor and PCV valve. Cleaned MAF sensor and lightly cleaned the throttle body without removing it. The codes went away but still have the same problem. I am replacing the h.p. fuel pump and cam follower myself soon. 163k miles on Audi A4 so I'm sure everything is wearing down fast at the same time.

FYI... If you have the later revision with the hose, instead of the banjo bolt, you don't need to remove the hose in order to replace the cam follower! I wish I had known that before spending my weekend screwing with that god awful spring clip!

Is the location for a Q5 identical? I haven’t looked at it, but my daughter is complaining of a fuel smell and a local mechanic is saying: a fuel pump replacement is required. From the quote, i can tell he’s asking higher then expected.

What’s a good place to purchase a pump other then the dealer?

Been dealing with a p2294 code for months now. I changed the CSM follower the hpfp the fuel rail pressure sensor the HPFP sensor and the lpfp. Still have the p2294 and fuel rail psi goes from 40 to 120psi non stop

I bought the stud conversion kit with nuts, instead of getting new bolts, which tend to strip out the body threads due to wear etc... The problem with the new stud kit is, the pump wont fit over the studs, unless you remove the thrust sensor, 1st, when the pump is on the engine. I didn't have a vice. Also I found, removing the brake vacuum tube from the firewall, creates a good amount of space

I broke the bolts that hold it in place what is the name of the part the fuel pump actually attaches to? Thinking of replacing it

It is seems like very easy to install fuel pump but where is the fuel pressure regulator located in the pump or outside of the fuel pumps?

The last six months plus my 2.0 tfsi better have misfires, stuttering and 1-2 second power losses codes came up P0087 and P1093 I've suggested to mecanic about camshaft lobe or cam follower or high pressure fuel pump.
