The fact that we say "historically accurate" for the 90s, makes me feel old :(. This was the best decade hands down!

Tattoo chokers (that are making a come-back), baby doll tops paired with cargo jeans, flannel and Doc Martens, overalls, brown lipstick and Nirvana.

Slowly sinking in...Some of the teens viewing this see it as history rather than nostalgia...

I love how historically accurate this is, I keep seeing just the replica 90s grunge inspired makeup videos but this is much more accurate & true to the era.

OMG, this is literally how I did my makeup as a teen/college student in the 90s. Smudging the liner and MAC brushes. YES.

I was a teenager in the 90's and definitely did NOT wear periwinkle, purple or pink eyeshadow (yuck- too much like my mom's 80's eyeshadows!). I turned 18 in 1996, so I was a teen throughout of the 90's. I wore a lot of neutral tans, browns and gold tones on my eyes and a lot of brown based colors on my lips and nails.

Unfortunately, I was born too late to be a 90s kid (1999). However, I was born to a mother who is a 90s fanatic and I have followed in her awesome footsteps. I love the 90s soooo much! Lauryn Hill, Gwen Stefani, Naomi Campbell and Aaliyah are some of my style icons. OH! And TLC (my mums fave band!)

I love this style of 90s makeup. The supermodel and grunge look was alright but the dark lip liner, skinny brows, brown lipstick, and matte skin is just so beautiful to me on everyone. Like I just shaved and tweezed my brows because I’m literally a 90s makeup stan lol 😩

Aahhh, Lisa Frank, overalls and those itty bitty butterfly clips! What a time to be alive!!

I do kinda like how fashion is going backwards now.. a lot of styles from the 90's and 80's are popping up everywhere! I'm personally looking forward to when the styles from the 60's makes a come back!! I would like to get myself another see-through phone, though - those things were just awesome!!

Brown makeup, thin eye brows, dark nails, flat face. I NEVER wore blush. I have to say, I'm still attracted to raisin colors. Everything was brown and neutral.

i was 8 through 18 in the 90s lol. so many memories lol. i didn't do much with makeup just lip liner, lipgloss, eyeliner and maybe foundation. i did wear a light brown or mauve on my lips lol. loved those butterfly hair clips and i still have them lol. i was *obsessed* with lisa frank folders and lol loved all the pretty colors and still like when colors are mixed like that. i put colorful backgrounds on my iphone all the time lol. omg i LOVED that show and dawson's creek!!!! total 90s baby here lol. great look and video, nice blast from the past ;)

Class of 99 ya'll... I totally had that Chanel Vamp nail polish. I miss the 90's trends. My Garden Botanica Bronze lipstick was everything...

Finally an adequate 90s makeup video with thin eyebrows and no bronzers, highlighters and heavy contouring! You look more 90s than all of the '90s makeup tutorials made from "professional" makeup artists. Just nailed it!

Omg Rum Raisin, I had that one and the lip liner that went with it.

I loved all the goopy glitter and lip glosses at the time! In regards to hair, I loved crimping, random little braids and twists/cornrows around the hairline!

I was 26 years old in 1990. I remember that infomercials were just really taking off and I ordered Victoria Jackson makeup. It was the first time I had blended two shades of foundation. What fun! Another favorite of mine was the workout show on ESPN Body By Jake. He helped me get back into shape after giving birth to my first daughter. By the time my daughter was two years old, she used to go around repeating his catch phrase..."Don't Quit" and copied his workout moves. I videotaped her imitating him and I thanked him for motivating me to workout every day. Jake loved the video and wrote me a letter and sent Body By Jake T-shirts for my family. I thought that was so sweet! Amazing video Zabrena! xoxo Laura

I graduated in 95 in Seattle and remember using Revlon's Rum raisin, soft brown eyeliner and just a dusting of a tan colored eye shadow, for cheeks it was a barely there nude looking blush. Some girls had really heavily lined smudgy eyes and dark grungy eye shadows.
