Fun fact about Crystal flies: they’re apparently strong enough to cut mountains apart, and yet the second my wanderer uses his E they **DIE**

You can also farm them in that one cave near the Melusine village. The plants give crystalflies which are pretty easy to catch.

I knew it was somewhere underwater, i noticed that too, crystalflies underwater cant just fly off that far, Fontaine has been my favorite place for collecting them.

I knew it. I always go to this place when mining condessence crystals, and I pick up the crystalflies along the way.

Also! Merusea village, 'very warm place' I believe. The cave with the tall glass plants. U can interact with them and from most around 2 or 3 crystalflies will pop out and u can get them before they even start flying off very easily.

Thanks to that spot, the crystalfly trap and the occasional crystalfly from gathering artifacts in the overworld I now have 1100+ crystalflies for condensed resin.

I used this spawn location for around 2 months, and to top it all off, I go to the one near the underwater domain (forgot the name). I get a daily amount of 9 crystalflies within around 30-40 seconds.

They still can disappear underwater though... it's just easier to catch them before they do since you can move in all directions
