Thank you so much! I have been trying to see where all the screws were on my mower but it's very full of grass. Lol
I have always heard that when you tip it over on the side just put the oil on top. Unfortunately now all the gas leaks out the cap. I only found four screws in mine and the top in the very middle seems to still be attached. So I will go back and see if I can find that middle screw today after work. Thank you so much for a very clear shot of your lawn mower and all the extra tips you gave. I have looked up so many videos you don't even know. Some of them were useless.
Unfortunately I have one of the lawn mowers that does not have that little piece that pops off the top.lol

I had this issue today on my first mow of the spring (I live in Vegas). The sun was starting to set and I have company coming over tomorrow. I didn't have time for this fancy repair and so decided to mow on just the two back wheels as my front yard isn't really that large. After I was mowing for a very short time the front wheels started to turn. I'm not saying this would be the case for everyone but thought I would add my comment here nevertheless.

Thank you for the video, quick question - when the self propulsion is not engaged, I still feel a slight hesitancy when I turn the wheels- is this normal? The belt is completely loose when I feel this hesitancy. Thank you for your time

Great video! Wheels stopped turning when I engage the plastic handle. I replaced the belt now experiencing the following- wheels do not turn when "belt wire" is positioned correctly but wheels turn when right side of "belt wire" is under belt or not inserted correctly. Can mower be used without "belt wire"? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just replaced traction control cable is 10 minutes. But you have to make sure you but offset instead of circular one with spring on the end.

question - the fwd on my craftsman works when i tilt it up, but does not have any torque to pull when the wheels touch the ground. is that a belt issue?
