The Ethical Implications of Generative Artificial Intelligence for Psychologists
Показать описание
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) holds great promise for positive developments in education, health care, applied work, and research. However, to realize its full potential, AI must be managed ethically with regard to privacy, autonomy, trust, accuracy, and community impact, with due regard for the possible biases and inequities they could foster without attention to ethics.
This panel combines ethics and applied AI knowledge to explore how to best manage the ethical issues and harness the power of AI. The program is primarily positive in nature and includes a discussion of benefits and opportunities of AI and science and applied practice, education, and psychological practice. Ethical issues are also discussed in terms of ways to mitigate any harms.
