Well, I will grant you the pockets are more forgiving than a table cut to a pro standard, but it's also true that the pockets always look bigger than they actually are when a player is potting everything.

I don't have an expansive knowledge of what happened when Tom went to England in the 90s and detailed records from that time have only recently begun to appear on the internet. But he is doubtlessly a capable player and is a 3-time Canadian champion, competing with those bigger names en route.

Tom IS a Great player 1 of Canada's Best Ever -Enough said i've seen them All play and withouT A DOUTH 1 of my Personal favorite players .

Not trying to discredit Finstad, but those pockets are huge, i could fit a semi in them, and further to that, why havent i ever seen him play in world Championships, seems like the only names i can remember are Thorburn, stevens, Robidoux, , never heard his name outside Canada.
