ST2 Smart Brake Module Installation on Can AM RT Limited

In this video, I finally installed the Smart Brake Module on my Can AM RT Limited.

I had to jump through some hoops, but in the end I got the job done.

I had to purchase the Service Manual so that I could the wiring diagram.

I purchased the product here:

Steps I took:

1. Remove the trunk.
2. Remove the rear passenger seat.
3. Found the CIC wiring harness.
4. Located the White Wire (Brake control), the Black Wire (Ground), Orange Wire (Power)
5. I attached the Provided connectors to the respective wires.
6. located and Velcro the module to a flat place under the seat.
7. I went with the writing facing down for the blinking effect.
8. made sure everything was secured in place.
9. put the Can AM RT Limited back together.
10. Tested successfully.

Seems like this could be very intermittent as finding a flat level spot is diffi ult and can change with riding conditions, the number of riders and other factors. Does jt self level at start up? It would almost have to, otherwise its not much better than a mercury switch.

Avec ou sans si la personne derrière est trop prêt de vous la réaction étant d'1 seconde, que vous freiner ou laisser ralentir le can am il vous percutera tout de même. Donc à part engraisser les vendeurs de tout ces gadgets ....

Since you have run this mod for awhile, has the Spyder thrown out any codes or any type of problems as of yet?
