I had to look up why my cats wouldn't come in when it was over 100° here. I was freaking out thinking they were going to die, and they were sunbathing 😂. Just make sure they have cool, fresh water. Wet food is a good idea, too.

Cats like it hot; unless they're in a fully-windowed place like a greenhouse or observatory they should be okay when it's warm so long as they have access to water and an easy way out of where they're at.

Cats really do show their desert ancestry when it comes to hot things. I have a void that'll lay in the sunniest window on a 40c day, and in the midst of our -40 winter he'll be snuggled up to the radiant heater, literally touching something that's about 80c on it's surface.

Cats are so weird about heat lol my cat loves to go into the garage even when it’s 110 degrees and it’s literally just an oven at that point. It’s crazy.
