It must be so such a good feeling to shoot videos like this .. riding through a city full of tourists and pedestrians - just one guy being awesome on a longboard, another one filming while riding a longboard and hundreds of stunned people watching as they pass by.

Also: Original, you are the best! I love your videos.

@BackStreetCreations the rocker concave is geared more towards freestyle riding, and is reversed camber. The trucks are pushed outwards a bit, which makes sliding easy. The w concave is geared more towards bombing hills and high speed. There's a small bump that goes down the center of your board and fits into the arches of your feet. This keeps you locked in during high speeds.

@ZiptiedNissanS14 both boards are very different. The Torpedo has a ton of flex compared to the freerides, and uses risers with Original s6 trucks. This board is meant for carving and cruising around. The Freeride is much stiffer, comes with two different concaves, is symmetrical shaped, has kicks, and can be dropped or top mounted. If you aren't certain which board to get then I would recommend the Freeride 41 rocker concave because it will allow you to do diverse types of riding

@ainesmilees we do ship to Australia for $60 and it usually takes about 7-10 business days for you to get your board. Because the apex 34 is a limited edition, shops in Australia do not carry it, you would have to order off our site.

@2d719 your entire set up will reflect how easy it is to slide, as well as your riding ability. Specific boards are designed for sliding, making it easier to slide.. however, you could slide with almost any board. The wheels will help you a lot if you have a good sliding wheel. Also, make sure you have enough speed behind you for momentum, and really push out your back leg. Don't forget to open up your hips and shoulders too.

For sure! The rocker will push the trucks outwards a bit making slides easy during freeriding. The kicks will also be a bit higher for the occasional freestyle trick.

@sk8cola217 original trucks use a single spring for carving instead of a rubber bushing. There's a good description about them on our website if you click on products and then hardware. You do not need to get original trucks with your apex, you can also get bushing trucks, depending on the riding you are looking to do.

@silentsniper912 the Malakai 40 and Torpedo 40 are both great cruising and carving boards. They have a decent amount of flex to them so they carve easily. The pintail series are also good cruising and carving boards. They are stiffer and lower to the ground making them more stable, and they also come in 4 different sizes.

@ButterYerToast check out our Malakai 40, Torpedo 40, and Pintail 37 or 40. The Malakai and Torpedo have a bit more flex and are great carving boards. The Pintails are lower to the ground and a bit stiffer, making them more stable for cruising. With Original trucks, the pintails are also great for carving.

@radiomindtherapy you would be fine with the freeride 38. It is a bit heavier than the Apex 37 but you aren't too small for it at all. The Freeride is made for sliding and can handle some tricks as seen in this video. The Apex is easier to carve with at lower speeds, and is mainly for freestyle. I think you would be happy with either board.

@2yjsnowman sure! You can keep the black springs in the trucks if you are looking to carve easily, or you can put the red medium tension springs in your trucks for a bit more stability.

@Zlimzz the pintails are cheaper, and you can slide and do smaller hills with them, however they ride completely different from the freerides. The pintails are more meant for cruising.

@EarthPlays the Apex 34 is smaller, lighter, and does not have the carbon reinforcement bar. The Apex 37 has the carbon reinforcement bar, more concave and camber, and a longer nose and tail, making it not just good for freestyle, but also freeriding. Watch the Apex 2011 Longboard video for more info. Freerides- w concave for freeriding, bombing, and slides. Rocker concave if you plan to do more freestyle and less freeriding. Call us up if you have more questions!!

Check out our Pintail series! They are meant for cruising and carving purposes, but you can also dance with them, learn how to slide, and take them down some smaller hills. They come in four different sizes depending on your height and weight.

@LaxPlayer8796 the 40 is still great for flat land freestyle. The Apex 40 is pretty much an all around performance board, and it doesn't limit you. It is a bit longer than the 37, which may make certain flip tricks harder, however, it has kick tails and the 37 does not.

@sooperWOWman11 you can slide with the pintail, as seen in the pintail video. It's a great cruiser and carver and can handle speeds under 25 mph, but if you're looking to go faster and do slides at a higher speed then you may want to look into getting one of the Freeride boards.
