My dad was a Christian and fell away for 20 years or so.. he came back to Christ about a year before he passed (Idk if he knew he was sick) and I could see the change in him. Praise God❤🙏

This may be discouraging to kids who grew up in church, left and are now debating coming back. God’s doors are always open to his children. We’re not perfect and God knows that and He loves and accepts us still.

The parable of the Prodigal Son shows that God welcomes back backsliders who turn back to him in repentance.

Amen. 2nd grade - 9th grade Christian School. Saved at 7; I felt the rinsing, the Holy Spirit move in. Started at my heart. Taught once saved always saved. Also taught gifts and tongues were for Apostles only.
God showed me they were for me and anyone who believes and is baptized. Tongues come from my belly to my mouth. Still can't get them out. But I was a "backslider". Hebrews 10, Revelation 3 Jesus specify tells Sardis "Repent or I'll blot your name out." Galatians Paul teaches go back to the law be judged by the law. As the Lord said Rev 3 Repent like the Lord says in Isaiah about the backslider. If he repents I will forgive him. ❤ Repentance is the way. Return to our First Love. Instructions for the end times. No heads full of Doctrines just in Awe of the Savior. Grateful to be saved.
I'm glad these videos are being made. People like us who've lived a sinful life for a few decades need to hear this. It really is a true joy when a person comes back to Jesus. It feels like getting saved all over. ❤ Thanks

This topic is very sensitive, it's messages likes this that make people loose hope. It's a different between having a stronghold, wilfully sinning, and rejecting christ. Thank you for this explanation, it's been really confusing, so all I decided was never to play with sin and if I do miss it, any day any time, I quickly repent and ask the LORD for forgiveness.

Let's pray for the prodigals let's pray for the backsliders that they repent truly repent and have a life changing encounter with God! Before they take their last breath! Only God knows when that will be.. but i do know, God finishes what He starts! There is hope for our loved ones in Jesus name amen.

For those who are confused: Backsliders can definitely come back to Christ and be saved. But if they die in an unrepentant state, provided they rejected Christ, then that's that

I grew up “Christian” and went to church up to middle school. I then became agnostic and didn’t believe in Jesus and mocked Christians. Then after going my own path and becoming a drug addict God revealed himself to me when I was 26 and I truly accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior and got baptized by the Holy Spirit in which dwells in me now because I’ve been born again and sealed until the day of redemption. I wasn’t truly a Christian growing up.. obviously because I fell away. Then I came to the revelation of Jesus and what He did for us. Now I’m saved forever because I put my faith and trust in His work on the cross for the payment of my sins and being covered by HIS righteousness and nothing of me.

There's power in the blood of Jesus. We cannot lose our salvation by works because we didn't earn salvation by works. It's through grace by faith we've been saved.

I backslid numberous time. This is it-I am anchoring myself in the Lord. The way I look at from my experience is God is married to the backsliding. It says so In Jeremiah 3:14-15 Return, O backsliding children, ” says the LORD; “for I am married to you. I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding." The Lord brought me out of a backslidden state that I was deep with in. He snapped me out of that and built me up for such a time as this. God is faithful!!! I fully attest to this. However with that said, dying in a backslidden state is a very dangerous place to be. If you backslide which is turning your back on God, how can you expect to inherit what is promised for those who walked with the Lord to the very end? So while I believe God is faithful and he will keep drawing you to him, one should not play with their salvation. I just thank the Lord that I didn't die aa a backslidder and he did not give up on me. Praise the Lord for he is faithful!!!❤❤❤

The Bible says in Jeremiah 3:14, that God is married to the backslider. So I believe that God can restore. The Bible also states that God will have mercy on whomever He wills (see Romans 9:18).

Question is - Once BORN Again, can you unborn yourself?? - As The Father Chose you, you didn’t choose Him.. the Father doesn’t make mistakes as we do. And the father knows those who are His. And He draws them near to Himself. Not us.. He doesn’t muck around like us humans.
