1). Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
2). Midnight Cowboy.
3). Easy Rider.
There was a new James Bond actor. George Lazenby appeared in "On her Majesty's Secret Service", his first and only outing as 007. Sean Connery would return again for the next Bond film.
Thanks to Easy Rider, Jack Nicholson's credentials rose enormously.
Director Ken Loach would release his second feature film called "Kes".
John Wayne would win his Oscar for True Grit and a very young Goldie Hawn would win a Supporting Actress oscar for Cactus Flower. Her future partner Kurt Russell would also appear in Disneys " The Computer wore Tennis Shoes".
Midnight Cowboy would win the Oscar for best Picture of 1969.

Fantastic vid, great editing. Motorcycles- The Nomad spirit. I have never seen Peter Falk looking so fresh. I love Kes, what a great fiim. Classic.i remember seeing that Barbara Windsor clip as a kid in my Uncles house one sunday afternoon. I think I became awakened after that. Haha, Brando looks like Owen Wilson. What an era, cowboy machismo, hard drinking and fighting. Almost seemed normal.
