The vintage NBA finals of 09 and 10, Boston vs Lakers is just one of the most entertaining basketball.

Ray Allen was so good at spacing and drifting to get open when the defense fell asleep. When he wasn’t running off screens, he was constantly shifting his position on the perimeter so that the ball handler had a clear passing lane and the defender had lost him and couldn’t recover.

He was a master as getting open not just with screens, but by barely moving at all. I can’t count how many times I watched this man shift his position by 5ft on the perimeter and he went from being covered to completely wide open.
