People are complaining about Maye played better, blah, blah, blah. If the o-line was in a better place, I guarantee Maye would be starting. Mayo and the rest of the staff is smart enough to know, they cannot risk the #3 pick running for his life and getting killed behind what the have now. Brisset has been in the situation before and is battle tested for it. Let them get the line right and play him around week 5 or so. Selfish people that are saying start Drake Maye, doesn't realize what it would do to his confidence if he started, got hammered, throw picks, running for his life, and they pull him anyway. Smart choice to go with the plan.

November 3rd vs the titans is when Maye should start, if you start in week 5 you still are playing tough defenses and the jags game few weeks after is in London, that’s a lot for a rookie

Brisett sounds a lot like Brisket. Brisket is made of meat. What can you make out of meat? A shield... a meat shield... What can you put on or in the meat in a sandwich? Mayo which is similar to Maye.... but also is the name of the head coach Mayo...

This was predetermined long before today everyone. Brissett was destined to be Mayes meat shield and also shield Mayo from being blasted when the season goes down hill this year.

I think it would great for the stars all line up be the surprise team of the season just missing the playoffs let maye take over next season, but also resign Jacoby as qb 2 as a thank you and as a mentor to Milton so in the future they have 2 game ready qb's . That would equate to more stars want to come to new England.
