I love this song!  I think the message of the song is that people are too afraid to meet the end, figuratively, literally, or the end of a life story that they keep on running from it, but no matter what it keeps on catching up to them. Eventually it gets to them and after all that running it actually feels better in their life. I don't know, it's a theory.
