Today's video is a deep look into the new Blackstar St James tube (or valve!) amplifier. This is an EL34 tube amp and is marketed as the lightest 50w amp in the world. I think this is a great move forward into a world of easy to carry and great sounding amps.

Been playing Blackstar amps since they came out with the Artist series… and just played the St James and wasn’t surprised by how good it sounded. People too quickly look over Blackstar.

Im new to this type of amps and my if I am not mistaken, the cab emulation only works with xlr/lineout right of does it work with the cab too?

Still prefer bluguitar amp 1 and blubox, best combo ( although I am a blackstar amp fan since Gus g ), even though sounds really good
