The team that briefly ran Viper ACR's at the Nurburgring said it has the potential to run a 6:55:~lap time since they only had like 3 real goes at it and each time was with a different driver so I still consider it a sub-7 minute car.

This is good for everyone when manufacturers are willing to increase their knowledge of how to make cars better. I don't see why people complain about such things.

A ring time from the GT with modern tyres would be interesting as well, as they'll have the track all rented out anyway.

Ford just dropped the teaser video yesterday for a full nurburgring video on the 10th, in 4 days. That sub 7 second run was already "rumored" before you made this video. Ford accomplished that sub 7 second time, now we just have to wait for the official proof.

The second I read they were gonna go for their record lap in Q4. I knew weather conditions were going to be bad.

We put too much stock in nurburgring times, cars like the ACR have beaten alot of sub 7 minute ring cars on other tracks, it costs alot to spend 6 months at the Ring after being shipped from the US. Also the issue with non showroom spec cars setting lap records needs to be addressed

The c7 zr1 did a 7:05 but nobody is looking at what happened. It was running off. He was barely at 638hp not its full 755hp. So it would easily have pulled under 7 minutes. On top of that, that was around the time the ring stopped mfgs from running times if you remember. It was a big story at the time the C7 running only 638hp having issues and not putting out its 755hp.

You should look up regular cab and crew cab f150's with the 5.0, either a whipple supercharger or twin turbo. They put a hurting to everything on the street! Nice wagon btw! love the spec!

With that type of weather at the track. I don't see Ford or any one else attempting to set a new track record. Cold weather and a wet tracks kills the grip and the wind kills the Areo.

There is a American car that can take the record as the already set records elsewhere, and thats the Czinger 21c Black Bird edition , would love to see Misha drive that car
