Earlier this year, when Deepika Padukone picked up a best actress award at an event, she dedicated it to Kangana Ranaut, for her critically acclaimed performance in Queen (2014). Later, Kangana told HT that she hoped Deepika would appreciate her work in person someday.

A few days back, Kangana reiterated that thought, when she said that the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, have called her to praise her performances, but “Deepika has never called me up directly”. Nonetheless, she said Deepika is someone she “has the highest regard for”. Kangana’s remark led to misunderstanding between the two.

Deepika is such a kind person, also standard as well, unhone is baat ko media ke bar bar punchne pe v open up nei kiya, yaha agar kangna hoti wo zarur puri baat ko even text ka ek ek word ko describe karti!
