Good video Jenny! I really never considered the home of brown as being close to the chest. But really as far as distances, we only know the one that is too far to walk :)

Did you ever consider this is perhaps Forrest's attempt to teach someone/many the hard knocks of life? ( Ref. Biblical/ perhaps elsewhere- passage not store up Earthly treasures, but Heavenly ones. )
" The chest " was not hard to "find", but I must say the puzzle itself is a complex and elegant puzzle.
Forrest, himself defined himself as "a rake" ( somewhere between a good guy and a scoundrel.)
There might be some small prize awaiting the finder of this puzzle solve. Based on the evidence I have amassed, I believe this puzzle's mastermind is beyond the reaches of Forrest Fenn in Santa Fe. ( LDS Church seems to be a key player.)
