I honestly doubt I will ever get monetized on YT. I would be shocked if I even hit 100 subscribers.
I decided to do it for the same reason I take and share my photos: I have something to say and if it finds one person who needs it, that is success.

It can be discouraging if we become fixated with the analytic and numbers. But I'm also being mindful and tell myself that the value of my channel is not dictated by those numbers. I guess we have to remember the big why of creating content here, if one is not enjoying the journey of creating then it's easy to just give up. Let's show up people! I actually feel optimistic because when I do something I am passionate about I do it until I perfect it! Once I perfect both my YouTube channels then I will still find new ways to attract broader audiences! I have gone from 0 subs to 310 in 9 weeks! I am NOT quitting. I will continue to post videos. I made the same error with leaving out the r in one of my shorts videos. One month with 215 Subscribers is excellent. Wow! You see why we cannot give up.

I started in Jan 2024--I had about 3 months of videos (dropping one a week) saved and ready which gave me a good runway to get going once I launched. This gave me time to do a good job editing and produce better videos to stay ahead. I had a plan to release one a week and have stuck to it. They're not top notch but I didn't feel pressure to throw something out there just to have it out there. I think consistency is key. I've had 3-4 videos that hit and brought in the lions share of subs (currently 2700+). I'm still just a baby channel but I'm in it for the long term. Keep grinding! Great video Scott
