Hi TomasRoko,
The Mininova is officially powered by either USB or power supply. But, you can use a rechargeable battery pack (the type that has USB sockets on for charging mobile phones/tablets etc).

I have a microkorg and bought my daughter a minimova. On the surface they do quite similar things - eg vocoder, arpeggiator. However, they have a very different programme approach and the mininova would appear more powerful and flexible soundwise - eg you can get the LFO to make the oscillators transition between waveforms. Also mininova supports more polyphony - so if you can afford the luxury of both the you could play chords on one and lead on the other!
