Love this song & the movie, I cried. My dad was a weekend alcoholic. He met Jesus in a hospital when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He lived 5 months before going to heaven❤

What a multi talented man! I saw I can only imagine 3x!! I grew up with a very abusive Dad. I cried all 3x seeing it. My Dad has been dead many years. It took me a long time to be able to call Jim Dad. For the longest time I referred to him as sperm donor. Mr Quaid, you did a God inspired job in that movie!! I recently discovered this beautiful song . Never knew this guy could sing too ! After losing my beautiful " helpmate " of 62 yrs. I have been looking for any and all songs that help me to go on when God knows by now he ought to took us together as one - for that's what we had become just one person ! Is it wrong to think like that ? I really hope she knew that my love for her was real . Some of us are real dummies and fail to see it completely until the best of everything is gone !
