Here's an HD version of the popular video I uploaded some years back. This lineup is from the early 1950's (also known as The Famous Ink Spots and Charlie Fuqua's Ink Spots.

I wish we still had this level of professionalism in class in modern singing.

This masterpiece may have been lost in obscurity if it wasn’t for Fred G Sanford.

I listen to this rendition at least a half dozen times a year. The lead vocal range is beyond amazing. 👍👌👍👌

Fabulous. Jimmy Holmes is superbly talented and should be in the pantheon of the great singers.

Smooth as silk. Back in the day when people had class, taste and real talent.

This is when music was beautiful and meaningful!! The Ink Spots were absolutely incredible in making beautiful music! As a small child I grew up listening to their music, so fascinated by them and still am even more today.

The original Inkspots with Bill Kenny split up in 1952 but this later group with Jimmy Holmes were also fabulous .

I had no idea he was still alive! I thought he passed years ago. I am so saddened to think that I could have met him! Even though he wasnt an original Ink Spot he was a great Bass singer and his talking Bass with the various Ink Spots imposter groups he was with was always excellent. R.I.P

Thanks Fallout 3 and Bioshock for making me know great music like this :)

This is wonderful. People don't sing, or write lyrics, like this any more.

The Inkspots were "Beatles popular" thru the mid-thirties and into and after the war years. No TV, just radio, lots of movie and personal appearances and tons of 78's. God, I love this group. :)

They were such amazing singers. I wish modern singers had this level of skill and class.

What a superb "falsetto". Great songs, great vocalists. The Ink Spots are my favorite vocal group.

Fred Sanford brought me here... Lifelong fan of the show and after a few listens along with finding Redd’s connection with Bill, I’m now a lifer for Bill Kenny And The Ink Spots...
I’m only 33 and I’ll sing this to my wife all the time. Lol

Wonderful. Can't stop listening to it. They sure don't have singers nor songs like this and more's the pity.
