Tank Workshop Diaries is one of my favorite things to watch. I wrench on things for a living and do weekend work on some surplus mil stuff. I could spend my vacation there working and be perfectly happy.

The Matilda Diaries were a fantastic idea and I enjoyed every second. When the Matilda was finished it was a strange split in emotions for me - very happy because of the successful restoration, very sad because the diaries will end. Then you started the Workshop Diaries and established the same fascination over the different projects for me like you did with the "monograph" about the Matilda! Great kudos for your work AND for this kind of documentation and the views into the most sacred part of your fantastic work!
Many thanks from Germany and best regards!

Won’t lie, seeing people working hard on the tanks made me kinda jealous. Must be a fun thing, expect it’s hard to do though.

It always amazes me how much work everybody does in order to keep these vehicles running and to display them.

Keep knocking out more of these videos, they're great. Singing the song of the otherwise unsung heroes of the Tank Museum.

The boys may not have been hired as presenters, but they've gotten really good at it!

Also fun to see that you're doing literal crane shots to film in the workshop.

Amazing 80-90 year old tanks - the amount of quality put in where they still work today.

Amazing video! It seems like it would be impossible to repair these Vehicles, they are so complicated! You guys all deserve a Gold Stars for your work, to insure the future of these tanks! Thank you all so much.

Fantastic recap. I'm so glad you took the plunge and started filming some workshop/behind the scenes stuff. Loved the outtakes. Please feel free to include them more regularly. I've always loved seeing professionals breaking character so to speak.

Everybody from the seasoned veterans to the new apprentices, including everybody behind the curtains too, well done and thank you. Have been really enojoying the hard work and effort you lot are all doing, preserving, entertaining and educating all at the same time

Workshop Diaries is fascinating. Seeing how these things work and the sheer amount of effort that goes into maintaining, repairing, and restoring them is astonishing. The fact that none of you are professional presenters only increases the show's authenticity and appeal. Kudos to all of you and I look forward to future episodes.

I know enough to appreciate the skill, attitude and intelligence of all those involved - and their humour ....their self depreciating humour is a sure sign of competence and desire to do the best job possible. Many thanks.
PS An acquaintance of mine has an Abbot, 1x Pig, Morris Champ, Stalwart, a weird Bedford crane and a ex REME and totally committed to preserving good at doing MOT's too.

You might not be presentors, but you're clearly professionals, and that shows in your work. Great video, great channel, great tanks!

Well done, an amazing amount of work to preserve, present and video the machines our fathers rode into battle.

So thankful that you asked the question at 30:16 - I've been wondering about this aspect. For sure, some of them are developing outstanding in-front-of-camera comfort levels even if it does take re-takes sometimes. It's a great addition to the channel.
