Our Guest: Matthew Liao

Matthew is a philosopher, bioethicist and author who is internationally known for his work on a variety of fascinating areas that affect our daily lives, including: novel reproductive technologies, neuroethics, and the ethics of artificial intelligence. Matthew is the Arthur Zitrin Chair of Bioethics and is the Director of the Center for Bioethics and Affiliated Professor in the Department of Philosophy at New York University. Matthew is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Moral Philosophy and, in 2019, he was appointed as a Fellow at The Hastings Center,a prestigious bioethics research institute. He’s the author of the book, The Right to Be Loved, and he recently published The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence.
