Amazing stuff! What I get from it is that art, freedom of expression, and individual thought are gradually moving towards death. The gunmen represent the society - critical, cruel, and relentless. The child is going through the remains of what was once a free space. He has the headphones on, so he is still connected to the essence of art, music - expression. He represents hope. The sadness and dirt on the kid's face shows that he belongs to the same society, but being a kid he has survived so far.
