For more than last 30 yrs the DRDO is developing for us "Arjun", fully indigenous Main Battle Tank and this task is nowhere near completion. What should one infer from this ?

The original name of the Nine Unknown men of Ashoka is evident from the fact that the same concept was used even by emperor Akbar and the nine men were called as Navaratnas, few of which were Birbal and Tansen. Even now Navaratan Kurma has become a famous Indian cuisine delicacy. The concept of Nine prodigies may have existed even during Gupta empire.

After Kalinga war, Ashoka became super knowledgable ? Like what he bacame a god and wanted to preserve it..A perfect viewer mongering story. The connection between Konark temple and 9 men is so lame, if you see 9 anywhere will you give credit to 9men of Ashoka ?

Do you think it's possible that Ashoka carried on a tradition rather than started it ? In Hindu mythology the most powerful weapon is the Brahmastra. Only 9 people had the knowledge to invoke the weapon, they were Parashurama, Rama, Meghanada, Bhishma, Drona, Karna, Ashwatthama, Arjuna and Lakshmana.

Emperor Ashoka wrote only one book, I think, Ashokavadana. The name Vishnu Sharma is a new name, impossible that the name was used during Emperor Ashoka's time.
