Vocals & arrangement by Farya Faraji, violin by Mikhail Bugaev. This is a Croatian folk song from the region of Koprivnica, and the arrangement emulates the northeast Croatian sound that is similar to folk music in neighbouring regions of Hungary.

Lyrics in Croatian:
Čula jesam da se dragi ženi — srce moje!
Nek se ženi, to je drago meni — srce moje!
Jagoda črlen', jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga

Jagoda črlena, jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga

I ja ću mu u svatove doći — srce moje!
I ja ću mu lepi dar donesti — srce moje!
Jagoda črlena, jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga
Jagoda črlen', jagoda malena
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga
V levoj ruki kitu ružmarina — srce moje!
V desnoj ruki malenoga sina — srce moje!

Jagoda črlena, jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga
Jagoda črlena, jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga
Jagoda črlena, jagoda malen'
Pozdravi mi v Koprivnici dragoga

English translation:
I did hear about my darling getting married,
I did hear about my darling getting married.

May he get married, I'm also glad.
May he get married, I'm also glad.

Well, I will too come to his wedding,
Oh, I will too come to his wedding.

I will bring him nice presents,
I will bring him nice presents.

In my left hand a rosemary bundle,*
In my left hand a rosemary bundle.

And in the right one my small son,
And in the right one my small son.

Your pronunciation is immaculate. If I didn't know your name, I wouldn't know that foreigner sang it. Greetings from croatia and I hope you'll keep blessing us (from the Balkans in general) with more music. I like them ALL.

These kind of songs are typical for northern Croatia. There is one you might like a lot, V jutro rano stal se jesam, very very old song after which Haydn composed Kaiserhymne, melody that Germany uses today for national anthem

I have never thought that Croatian can sound so beautiful

this song is kinda sad... But ths melody is so calming and soothing. Croatian also sounds beautiful. I love this intimate, almost whispered type of singing, if i had a girlfriend id sing to her like this all the time.

I just want to express how beautiful this is, thank you Farya. As a croat, you nailed this 100%. Your pronounciation is almost flawless
