Drawing a line, arrow and arrowhead in Photoshop CC

Thank You!! I was really frustrated trying to complete an order for a client. I started to try doing it in Illustrator, but dicided to do quick Youtube search first. In my version of Photoshop, CC 2021, the units for the arrowhead are in cm not percentage. I can't figure out how to change it and my arrows are huge! I looked under Preferences --> Units, but did not see a place to change this value.

I used to draw arrows all the time, but I guess with the latest update, the changed how this field works and I just can't figure it out. Any help as to how cm convert to %? Thanks!

I'm trying to make a white arrow on a black background, but when I click outside the arrow the stem disappears but it keeps the arrow. I tried closing Photoshop and reopening and it still does it. Why??? Arrows were so much easier in Photoshop 6 or any of the older ones. Now making a simple arrow is too involved. I also am trying to make two arrows start from the same point. not sure that will work either, but for now I can't even see the start point. Frustrating...

All I'm getting are lines. No arrowhead even though I selected "start" and unselected "end" in the arrowhead section of the settings section you showed. It only works for me when both "start" and "end" are selected but that's not what I want. :(

How can you change the type of arrow head? For example, how would I make a line with two rounded tips at each end, instead of an arrow?

Am I on my own here? I go to the line tool & there's no 'Arrow' option. I'm on 2022 version, has it changed?

I can't find the gear icon. Edit: It appears when you use the line tool, not after!

Is there any way I can edit the arrow line after I draw it? When I change the length, the arrowheads distort.

Unfortunately, when you are on your own and nobody to show you, it can be VERY frustrating. I have tried to draw an arrow, but NOTHING appears, just the line comes out. There is no arrowhead appearing.
