Math 392 Lecture 27 Review for Final Exam - part 1

Note: This review has two parts. Look out for the second installment.

The title says it all. In this lecture, we go over the highlights of the syllabus in preparation for the final exam. The review only covers relevant material to the final, so there might be some "important" topics missing.

Also, please note that there seems to be a part of the video missing at the end. The camera had battery troubles or something. Below are the examples that got cut off from the end of this video. It's not difficult, but it is important to know how to do these problems (well, important to know how to parametrize in general). The missing part involved:

Parametrize the following:

(a) The straight line segment from (2,3) to (4,-7)

(b) The straight line segment from (1,7,3) to (0,-3,4)

(c) The curve of intersection of x^2 + y^2 = 4 and the plane x + y + z = 1

(d) The part of the plane x + y + z = 1 bounded by the cylinder x^2 + y^2 = 9.

I believe the answers to these are captured in the first part of part 2.
