Episode 5 is a life changer, the writing and the acting in that episode is brilliant!

I don’t think I can ever look at Toni Collette the same way after Hereditary. Saying she was unforgettable is an understatement. If she doesn’t win an Oscar I’ll be.. not very surprised but extremely disappointed

Wenn ich eine Serie auf Netflix schaue, habe ich nicht die Erwartung, etwas wirklich Tiefgründiges anzutreffen. Aber diese Serie, die hat mich komplett umgehauen!! Mal keine Klischees, keine überzeichnete und geschönte Dialoge und Handlungen. Sondern endlich authentische und vor allem sehr reife Persönlichkeiten und kein kindisches Geplänkel oder übertriebener Action wie sonst in allen anderen Serien. Kein Botox, kein Zahnbleaching, einfach natürlich schöne Menschen. In vielerlei Hinsicht vorbildliche Charaktere und horizonterweiternder Inhalt. Ich bin total entzückt, gibt es in unserer Zeit solch revolutionäre Serien. Ich danke den Produzenten von Herzen für dieses Meisterwerk!

Toni Collette is great as always and the only reason I tuned in. I wasn't sure whether I liked or not but by episode 2 I was hooked. Extremely good writing and cast. The sex scenes didn't bother me in the least and not sure why some were so offended. I thought the acting and writing were both natural and believable. The last episode with Joy and her therapist was absolutely riveting (both writing and acting). Toni Collette never disappoints and I hope they continue the series! I am a USA viewer.

What made this show so good was the fact a boring marriage was kept together with seeing other people. What was so good about this show was all the emotions, hurt and other feelings that go along with doing just that.
