Win or lose this song is going to be an absolute banger in all the euroclubs in the run up to the contest. That ‘drop’ totally fits this song as it’s more EDM/ House Music than Pop. You can also imagine the staging being an almost carbon coby of the music video with all the strobe lights and effects.

Ive said this on the Wiwi chat boards already, but this song is a meaty floorfiller. A song that sounds like the big trance tracks that dominated the European dancefloors and charts in the early 2000's.

Im getting hints of Sash!, Milk Inc, System F, Cascada etc and its all wrapped up in a modern package.

I personally dont understand this notion of having to re-invent the wheel all the time for something to be relevant or well liked. Incorporating sounds from yesteryear makes something sound familiar and comforting, and for me this song does it so well. In other words it doesnt have to be original to be good. Originality isnt what makes something good. Originality just adds another layer of interest.

I love the gentler parts in the verses, with the soft cinematic flourishes, which then fall away to a prechorus that picks up pace before the big drop, followed by the shrill, stabbing chorus made up heavy pulsating nighmarish trance beats. It totally goes with the lyrical content of the song.

So far this one is my favourite of the two songs. Lets see what next week brings!

Song is OK, if it makes to the Eurovisions the success depends so much on the competition / live performance. When I first heard the song I was worried with the auto-tune and the fact if she could perform the song live. Well, after hearing some live clips on Tik Tok not worried anymore, this girl can sing! The Whitney cover, Celine cover… Wow! Am confident now that she can kill it in live performance and thus do very well!

Totally unrelated, but William you do not age!! 😍 Also the whole idea of a EDM song is a "Drop". This isn't "pop" so chorus's aren't really a thing. It's Trance/Euro House. I guess on the drop, UMK have somethings up their sleeves. Maybe light work and dancing? I reckon it's going to sound so good on the big stage. Out of all the songs I've heard from all Pre Selections, this one stands out. It's giving top 5

I really enjoyed the Cascada "Every Time We Touch" reference! It sounds very 2010's, just perfect EDM track.
Neea River has a great vocal range and clear voice, very good for UMK.

If you listen to finnish radio, the songs are 95 percent sang in finnish, so I kind of get what she means by her will to bring back english to the charts. What a banger too!

One of the best songs released so far! I don't care we feel we've heard it before. Same goes for " Kant" f ex😉 Such a great beat and build up! lovely voice too. A bit Monsters yes, but better

Love this 1st song, very strong start to UMK, and IMO the chorus part with EDM is the most powerful part of the song (so I disagree with Deban there), and this from someone who usually doesn't even like EDM 😅 But agree that the very best song & UMK winner is probably yet to come. Though I could live with this going to ESC. ;)
