My rovyvon a5x just exploded. Luckily I was in my room at the time watching TV when it happened. The amount of smoke it produced was unreal. Shame as it was good when it worked

I have Nitecore TIKI since this was about the only one I could get shipped to me, I'm very happy with it. Just waiting for them to release USB-C charge already!

I got the Nitecore Tini 2 soon after it was released and have carried it on my keychain since. It’s a great light and the multiple lockout modes are super handy for day use/non-use

I won an O-light keyring light (we call them torches here not flashlights) in a trade show give away. BLOODY AMAZING & this little tool sits with my house keyring. I bought a few more & gave them away as gifts. Used dozens of times over.

Idea for a keychain flashlight test.
Put them in a bag with small stones and Sand. Now start shaking. Who has the Most scratches etc.

For durability, I think metal bodies are the only way to go. Still, it looks like all of them would have done just fine if not set on fire; that's a pretty brutal test.

I dropped my tini2 today and the screen shattered. Unfortunate. I don't even have a big keychain but I do have a milspin pry bar which I believe may have been the culprit.

WARNING: The tini 2 is a great light, but; as he noticed, the screen will get a bit of condensation under the screen if exposed to hot water. It will return back to normal after a bit, though.

I can not recommend rovyvyon if you are looking for a robust lamp.
I have an A8x Gen 2. At least not the "old" generation with a rubber button.
Have lost the USB cover, at the same time the inner body had turned /moved inside the tube and I had to realign it with a screw Driver.
Now the button is lower and doesn't go smoothly.
( I have absolutly NO Idea how this happened and i was shocked and sad, the moment i noticed it)
And the stainless steel ring at the top is very scratched.

And this after 6 months of normal use.

At the price this is unacceptable.
Maybe its better with the new 3 Generation and Rubber switches

Because the light itself is nearly perfect. Nice beam, nice tint, nice functions. And can be used, while beeing charger.
