I'm so used to being told that you can't over share, that you should keep things to yourself. That no one cares how you actually are, to always keep it light... I even have a hard time talking real with my psychiatrist, I so automatically want to just say nothing's wrong, even if everything is.

This is pretty interesting, I guess we all have these crazy thoughts running through our minds when we're getting to know someone. I'm sort of in that position, seeing a really sweet guy but I'm also scared of getting hurt. In the end we all want to be loved and are willing to take that chance.

I was just thinking about this last night. How many times do we say say we're "good" when something is eating at us, or we just have a bad day. How many times do we laugh along so that we fit in or smile so we can say we are happy? People need to be more honest with each other and ourselves, instead of saying good. That's why I ask people how they are doing twice once so they can say good and another so I know how they really feel.
