I work in crypto. The first app is not mining any bitcoins, you just simply can’t mine it on a phone or tablet. Even if you make it work, you will earn so little bitcoins it wont even be a dollar in a month (if you are in a pool and payouts are consistent, if you are on your own your odds are even worse). So I think it is just some kind of a pyramid scheme, you pay for the pro version and they pay people from that, and I’m sure they are selling your data (location etc.) and using the phone as a proxy that they can sell. No one should buy any phones for a phone farm, you can easily emulate any android version on your pc, instantly get 30 instances, automate them etc.
If this would really earn money people would just do this.

People aren't using these farms passively. They are watching them for ten hours at a time and constantly clicking in order to make min wage per hour

With crypto tag, there’s some things and options you have other than clicking the button every three hours. I would look at something like selenium that runs every two or three hours, where it would interact with the graphical user interface of the app. For example, you could set up something like selenium to to move a mouse or finger and then click whatever button you want. You can us auto clicker to stop it timing out and use vpn so the app doesn’t think your on the same wifi
