Space Engineers is a voxel-based sandbox game set in space and on planets, developed and published by Czech independent developer Keen Software House. In 2013, the initial developmental release of the game joined the Steam early access program. During the following years of active development, Space Engineers sold over one million units. In total as of 2019 the game has sold over 3.5 million copies In May 2015, for approximately a year and a half, the game's source code was officially available and maintained by KSH to assist the modding community. On December 15, 2016, the game entered Beta and was later officially released on February 28, 2019.
The game is a sandbox game about engineering, construction, exploration and survival in space and on planets. Players build space ships, space stations, planetary outposts of various sizes and uses, pilot ships and travel through space to explore planets and gather resources to survive.

pipes would be cool to transport water to thrusters or reactors as coolant, making them more powerful but only able to be transported by pipe

The new control system is huge. I think it's called v joy. Star citizen uses it too. Quite easy to fly

I hope there will be small conveyors that are 2, 5m long. That way we could build long conveyor networks for hydrogen thrusters, requiring much less space and with a much lower PCU cost.

Hoping there is a toggle option on that gyro steering feature. It sounds really nice for normal flying, but I prefer the current system for mining and using fixed weapons

Elite dangerous's movement system is similar but you can actually just hold the mouse wherever you want and the ship will keep turning in that direction, whereas in war thunder your vehicle will track and then stop at your mouse, elite dangerous is the same except your mouse keeps moving with the ship letting you turn endlessly, personally I like both

3:48 NMS is also a good example, since to pitch and yaw, you use the mouse wheel. Additional inputs of A and E allow rolling.

Having played War Thunder, I can attest that this new Mouse-Aim Mode (as it's called in WT) is way better than direct mouse input.

Also, I'm glad they didnt go with Star Citizen's default "virtual joystick" method, which is absolute ass, especially with lower framerates.

Already made a bit of a collection of crawl spaces with conveyors. Was quite surprised that nailed base sections size and free space for them
