While Cheryl wasn’t the only vote, the committee didn’t vote for Caitlin either. Doesn’t matter now. It doesn’t matter if USA women’s Olympic basketball team wins or loses. The basketball team is irrelevant. It wasn’t the best players on the team. CC and AR should have been on the Olympic team.

Reeve probably hasn’t experienced this a lot, but she is currently experiencing the avalanche that results when someone makes a really bad decision. Once that happens, every single decision gets examined with a microscope. She really blew it with how she handled the decision regarding CC, not just not including her on the team, but the comments she made afterwards regarding CCs non-selection. Now people with be second guessing her on every single decision she make from WNBA related to jokers following her around at the local supermarket questioning her selection of breakfast cereal.

Cheryl Reeve admitted that they don't pick the best players 14 USA because what was it what was the quote she said will beat anybody so then why were you so adamant about building the team that you built since it doesn't matter we could have sent over whoever just 12 other women from the WNBA and we would have won the gold correct Cheryl so what does international experience have to do with any of that like you catered to Diana taurasi and you are not introducing new talent to the world you were showing them the same thing every 4 years why not start showing them different things because there's a very good chance that 9th straight gold medals is going to be very hard we saw how the world of women's basketball has caught up to USA in the Paris Olympics so just imagine the international level that will be in Los Angeles in 2028 yes Caitlin Clark will be on that team Angel Reese will be on that team unless the people in charge of US women's National basketball are just complete idiots. There is a chance that even though you're going to have the best player in the world on the court for Team USA doesn't mean the rest of the world isn't doing anything to better themselves Lakewood France did the A'Ja Wilson today at points that game was even a little bit too physical for her and she is the best player in the WNBA and as of right now I will say the world yet Caitlin is coming to take that spot and she will take it. You need to bring up the younger generation I know there's only so many spots and so many teams and these women have dedicated their lives to basketball so I can understand that especially when you have new town coming in and taking somebody else's spot who now isn't going to play basketball this year but this is the job that you chose this is the path you wanted to go down and the thing is there is always someone better that's just the way of the world and the WNBA is going to belong to Caitlin Clark within three years
