[Tutorial 1] How to Install OpenFoam on Linux and Windows

Let's Talk about Openfoam!

Several of my viewers and subscribers have asked me to start making OpenFoam Tutorials, so this is why I am starting this new series.

The Purpose will be to show you how to operate the OpenFoam solver with the minimum of hassle
and I'll try to teach you some knowledge about CFD Simulation along the way, brushing off my own dusty CFD skills ;-)

In this video, I will teach you how to install OpenFoam
I'll talk both about Linux and Windows

Then in the next videos, I'll go over some tutorials with you and I will try to comment as much as possible so you understand what I am doing.

Hi I have ubuntu 22.04 with codename jammy and I can’t install it. It tells me that the repository doesn’t have a Release date.
Do you know why?

In openfoam-11 version i am not being able to find many important solvers like pisofoam, icofoam etc how can i install them while i can see that it exists in openfoam version-8 and it can not be installed because of newer version please tell me how can i solve this problem please?

Hi could you please let me know what is the diferences between OPENFOAM VS SALOME MECA? What are those intended for? is there any link which explanin the main diferences, and the las thing is I have installed CAELINUX in a separate partition of my disk, CAN instal OPENFOAM in this distro ?

Hlo Sir, I have to compare dambreak case with interfoam solver which is inbuilt in openfoam v2112 and interflow solver in two phase flow that I downloaded from github. Sir how to run that case in this interflow solver which I downloaded. Do I need to copy the case from interfoam to interflow ?? Please help
