Hello, before the questions of Aventurine being tanned comes in. Allow me to explain. Aventurine is based off of romani culture. (Confirmed by romani people themselves.) he has also lived in the desert - ideally he should have a darker skintone. Aventurine was unfortunately whitewashed by HYV, as well as many other characters. Even if the tan is made to represent aventurine more, i have not exactly seen a romani with blonde hair before... But if people also live in the desert, there's no definitive way to just assume aventurine's skin tone since there people who live in the desert with pale skin tone too. (he did live in a different planet so maybe the climate was different too as well as the genes of the people)
