As almost all these sites are are in every tourist guide you will be there with huge crowds and even though they are interesting the experience could be disappointing. As there are so many wonderful shrines, temples and gardens in Kyoto the experience of Kyoto will be much more satisfying if you avoid these sites and do a little research and find something where you don't have to deal with the overwhelming hoards of tourists . Many of the sites are like being in a crowded train during rush hour in Tokyo.
