Shiloh is a name that my husband and I were considering naming our baby. I knew it meant peace. But since Shiloh is a way to describe Jesus. Do you think it’s and appropriate name? I don’t know why I feel like if it’s a name for Jesus that I shouldn’t use it. I guess I feel like it would be like if I named my kid messiah. Which I know there’s only one messiah. I'd like to emphasize that it says the scepter will not depart from Judah until Shilo comes.
This means the Shilo is not from the house of Judah. So then it cannot be referring to Jesus on whom be peace. That's not to say Jesus on whom be peace never held the scepter, it just means that 49:10 couldn't be referring to Jesus.

There is a city that is named after both a place and a person: Seattle/Sealth- I was born there in 1983. I am of the first Puritan Americans, and Irish fisherman who made it to Newfoundland before the famine. Both my parents have passed of seperate diseases. My fathers mothers mothers maiden name was Sherwood- she had two daughters, and raised them both Matriarchs on the Yakama Reservation. Eva passed when I was 14. Her sister Alta, passed in 2020 at 86. Her father was Yakama. I was told I was a medium due to my dreams by my mothers cousin. I just spent the last 10 years healing in the Snoqualmie Valley from a parasite and fibromyalgia- and fighting my way tooth and nail through western medicine and psychology/psychiatry. I made it to Tacoma/Tahoma after being forsaken by my support system through my illness- maybe 10 people- I wanted to die it hurt so bad to lose my family...and thats the beginning.

If you believe in this, keep Faith- I have council with African American ministers- and the US has some Peace to offer the rest of the world...by making a place people will speak of for a long time to come <3.
